I switched to instinctive shooting in 2015 with a longbow — an amazing feeling. Over the years I then moved closer to the recurve, which I recognize has more performance and a more rugged character compared to wood. I came to the Testarossa Picchio among the first customers. I switched to the newly released carbon limbs and took first place at the 2022 CSAIN national championships in Monza. I’m not exaggerating when I say that 35# delivers enough power to send an arrow at an impressive speed. Since then, the Testarossa and I have shot in countless competitions, and it’s always a satisfaction to hear the snap and see the arrow leave cleanly towards the target. Thanks to Filippo, who took great care over the choice of woods and weights to get a stability that suits me personally.
