The Picchio Testarossa Carbon Recurve Limbs are designed to be light, strong, and beautiful. All of this translates into energy transferred to the arrow, providing higher speed, reduced vibrations, and pure pleasure when shooting.
The aggressive double-radius curve allows the limb to work dynamically throughout the draw. This results in a smooth, progressive draw feeling, a natural anchor, and greater arrow speed at release.
The limb’s structure consists of a tapered central bamboo lamination, paired with two carbon laminations crafted according to our design. The carbon fiber keeps the limb light, significantly increases torsional stiffness, and allows it to stop immediately after release, reducing vibrations and transferring more energy to the arrow.
Near the attachment to the riser we insert a wedge in amaranth to reinforce the area. The Tips are made of horn and reinforced with a layer of carbon fiber: this solution keeps the ends light, improves dynamic efficiency, and increases mechanical resistance under high stress. Every element is designed to enhance speed, durability, and stability.
Compared to traditional fiberglass limbs, this solution offers several advantages:

We always produce multiple pairs of limbs in the same production cycle so that we can carefully select and match them by weight and poundage, ensuring they work together in perfect balance.
The limb-to-riser connection uses a proprietary standard system for all of our Testarossa Bows that ensures full interchangeability between components. This allows the limbs to be replaced or upgraded at any time without the need of sending us the riser to fit them.
Available lengths:
– SHORT 58″/60″ makes a 58″ bow on the 430 Riser and a 60″ bow on the 500 Riser, recommended for AMO draw lengths up to 27.5″.
– MEDIUM 60″/62″ makes a 60″ bow on the 430 Riser and a 62″ bow on the 500 Riser, the 60″ is ideal for AMO draw lengths up to 28.5″, and the 62″ up to 29.5″.
– LONG 64″ for use on the 500 Riser with draw lengths over 30″.
Each pair of limbs comes with a string made of 8125 material, with nocking point and silencers installed.
