The Testarossa grip can be chosen in three different shapes, and each one can be made with three different wrist angles. Below you can rotate the 3D models of the three shapes, shown in the MEDIUM wrist version.

THE SHAPES
- TRADITIONAL – The favourite of the vast majority of “Testarossa shooters” (myself included). It is rounded enough to fill the hand nicely, and has a small flat area below the pivot point where the base of the thumb rests comfortably.
- SPHERICAL – More rounded, for those who miss 1980s-style bows and like to hold the bow with the whole hand in contact. A small piece of advice I always give: keeping the hand relaxed, without squeezing the bow with the whole palm, makes you shoot better and puts less stress on the bow.
- OLYMPIC – Inspired by the grips of Olympic and compound bows, with a wide flat area and a sharper edge that sits along the “life line” of the palm.
These three shapes are included in the price of a Testarossa with a Custom riser. The CUSTOM version, at an extra cost, can be agreed together starting from one of the proposed shapes, with the modifications you would like.
THE WRIST ANGLE
All shapes can be made with three different angles:
- HIGH – 43° from the axis of the bow: the hand works more on the pivot point.
- MEDIUM – 39° from the axis of the bow: the hand rests better with the palm.
- LOW – 34° from the axis of the bow: the palm rests and works more on the grip.
