What data we process, and why
When you place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email and phone number, to process the order, respond to enquiries and complaints, handle payments and prevent fraud, and comply with our tax obligations — legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation. If you create an account, the same data is stored to speed up future orders.
If you write to us through the contact form we collect your name, email and message, solely to reply to you — legal basis: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and fraudulent use — see “Who we share data with” below.
If you choose to receive marketing communications, we will only use your email for this purpose with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We keep order information (name, email, billing and shipping addresses) for 10 years for tax and accounting purposes. You can request the export or deletion of any other personal data we hold about you at any time, except for data we are legally required to keep.
Cookies
This site uses technical cookies, necessary for the cart and account to work, and — only with your consent — third-party cookies for social features, statistics and advertising. On your first visit you are shown a banner listing the cookie categories used, their duration, and the option to accept, reject, or customise your choice by category.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages (for example the Technical section) include videos embedded from YouTube. This content behaves exactly as if you had visited YouTube directly, which may collect data about your interaction according to its own privacy policy.
Who we share data with
The data we collect is processed, for the respective purposes, by the following providers:
- Register.it — hosting for this site.
- GLS, BRT and other couriers — transport and delivery of orders.
- PayPal and WooPayments (Stripe) — processing of card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments.
- GoSMTP — sending of transactional emails (order confirmations, notifications).
- Google reCAPTCHA — protecting the site’s forms from spam and automated abuse.

International data transfers
Some of the providers listed above (for example PayPal, WooPayments/Stripe and Google reCAPTCHA) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In these cases, the transfer relies on European Commission adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses provided for in articles 44-49 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Your rights
As a data subject, you can exercise at any time the rights set out in articles 15-22 of the GDPR: access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing of your data breaches applicable law.
