Description
Transparent fiberglass strip for building high-performance bows. This lamination must be glued, using EPOXY GLUE, onto the WOOD LAMINATIONS one on top and one underneath to create the “sandwich” structure that forms the bow limb. It has one rough side for gluing and one smooth side to remain on the outside.
It has a thickness of 1 mm (= .040″) and is available in widths of 38 mm (= 1½”) for LONGBOWS and 45 mm (= 1¾”) for RECURVES.
It can be purchased by the meter by entering the required quantity in meters; you will receive a full coil of the requested length. This solution minimizes waste and optimizes material usage according to the length of your bow or bows.

If you are also purchasing wood laminations, it is safer and more convenient to pack the wood together with the fiberglass into a single, very sturdy package. We can also cut the fiberglass to the same length as the wood laminations. Please indicate your preferred solution in the order notes.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
The rough side must not be contaminated or greased to ensure perfect bonding. Avoid touching the rough surface with bare hands to prevent injury and to keep it free from oils handle with gloves. It is advisable to lightly sand the rough surface with 100–120 grit sandpaper before gluing.
