Self-tapping brass insert to be placed in the riser to accept the 8mm limb fixing screw with metric thread. Price per single piece. Length: 30mm.
The hole should be made with an 11.5mm bit for hardwoods like Shedua, Purpleheart, Bubinga, or similar, and 11mm for softer woods like Maple, Beech, Elm, or similar. The insert should be glued with two-component epoxy glue, even without heating the piece, as long as the room temperature allows the glue to harden within 5-6 hours.
