I’ve been shooting for 10 years. About 4 years ago I started with the Picchio (weighted riser); 2 years ago I tried the Testa Rossa and it was love at first sight.
I have to say it’s a wonderful bow: stable, smooth, very fast. A friend I let try it called it “unfair” because of the advantage it gives you over other bows.
Indeed, the Testa Rossa has allowed me a significant leap in quality. Thanks to its speed I was able to lower my draw weight (from 40 to 35 pounds) without increasing the arc of the arrow. Together with the stability of the weighted riser, this has let me greatly improve my control.
I have won a great many tournaments, both Fitarco and Csen. No less important about this choice is that in Guglielmo and Filippo I found two friends who know how to listen and who support me all the way with great professionalism and availability. That is priceless.
