Good morning, I’ve been practicing archery for about 12 years. I started with the longbow. For many years I got skilled with this type of bow, with plenty of personal satisfaction. Just to try it out, I bought a Picchio, a simple traditional recurve. A few years ago, Filippo asked if he could add weight to my riser to run some experiments; I agreed, and ended up with what I nicknamed “El sciopp” as the result of that work. It started at 45 pounds and came back at 41, but it shot harder than before 🤷🏻♂️
I tried the Testarossa … it felt like a real Formula 1 bow. Today I own one at 31 pounds. Saying I’m satisfied is an understatement — I’m veeery satisfied. I consider it a truly high-performing tool in every respect, but also something quite refined, dare I say for connoisseurs. I don’t mean it’s reserved for a narrow niche, but to really appreciate it, you need to want to improve yourself with dedication and willpower. As the title says, He is perfect, we are only human 😊
It’s excellent
