Description
Internal steel tip for carbon shafts of the UNI type with an internal diameter of 4.2mm, lightweight for low poundage and soft spines. Available in 40, 60, and 70 grain weights.
TIPS:
40gn on 1800-1500 shafts for bows 10-20#
60gn on 1300-1000 shafts for bows 20-30#
70gn on 1100-900 shafts for bows 30-35#
These combinations are only indicative and should be verified with adequate tests for optimal tuning.
MY IMPRESSIONS: These lightweight points are essential for achieving a good arrow flight with a flat trajectory even with low poundage bows. Unfortunately, Ambition shafts come with a 70gn tip even on very soft spines. Shortening the tip to achieve a lower weight makes the arrow fragile due to the too-short rod inside the tube. I hope I have solved this problem.
