Description
Nock for wooden or aluminum arrows with a tapered shaft, available in sizes 5/16” or 11/32” in various colors, including transparent. It has a firm grip on the string.
ADVICE: For 23/64” arrows, 11/32” nocks can be used without any problem. I have also seen 5/16” nocks used on larger arrows, as the insert is tapered and fits any size. To install it correctly, you need to sharpen the shaft with the appropriate sharpener and use a drop of solvent-based pen glue on top of the cone to facilitate air release during gluing. After inserting the nock onto the shaft, simply rotate it at least once to spread the glue over the entire cone and apply medium pressure to lock it in place.
MY IMPRESSIONS: There’s not much to say about this nock, which has excellently accompanied all my adventures with wooden arrows and, before that, aluminum arrows, without ever causing any problems.
